What To Know Before Your Massage Session

You've booked your session and now you await the day. Here’s what you need to know before your massage appointment. You should receive a health intake questionnaire in your email. Please complete this form before coming to your appointment so we can use your full 60 minutes for massage. It will be used to plan our session. In addition, it will give me a base point about your medical history and our goals for the massage session.

I want you to feel comfortable talking before, during, and after your massage session. This is YOUR massage. You have hired me. What do you like/dislike? How is the lighting in the room? Too bright/dim? How about the room temperature? Your body temperature might decrease during your massage session. This is not unusual and means the massage is increasing blood circulation. If you are too cold/hot, I want to know so I can give you a blanket or uncover your feet. How about the music or sound in the room? Are you more of a jazz fan than traditional spa sounds? My fiance loves to have ocean wave sounds during her massage. If you want more or less pressure, let me know. I value your comfort and feedback.

Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time to briefly go over your medical history and undergo any assessments before the session. Remember, at Massage Refresh, an hour-long massage is 60 minutes. Last, but not least, let others know. All clients who leave a Google review will receive $5 off their next massage! See you at your appointment! It's time to be refreshed! You deserve it.

Quick reminder: this Saturday, April 6, 2024, is our Grand Opening Event. The first 10 guests will receive a free 10-minute massage. Come tour the massage studio, meet Kip, and put your name in a drawing for a free 60-minute massage. Refreshments and good hospitality will also be served. We hope to see you there!
